“When I first saw some of the images in Pretty | Whatever, what most struck me was their similarity to the randomness of Facebook news feeds, with the mixture of inane and emotional, random and sentimental all jumbled up together.” Jeremy Barker, The Sun Break, “Dancer & Artist Brings her Picture Poems to CoCA this week”
“Leah Schrager’s choreography is a panoply of graceful violence.” - Leonard Jacobs, editor Backstage – on Remission
“Marvelous, maddening, dizzying…one of the most adroit, fully present ensembles I can remember seeing.” – Claudia La Rocco, WNYC – on Cycatrix Adaptitude
“Perhaps one of the most interesting is the dramatic, kinetic mix of video and live theater…He is able to pull off this feat largely because of the physical talents of dancer/collaborator Leah Schrager who is able to flawlessly make us believe that she is the body to a large, video head.” – S. Chiro, OtB blog on Lasagna
“Leah Schrager’s dancing was beautiful and brought a color to this drab world.” – S.Farhood, OtB blog on Lasagna
