Thought That Is Actually a Thought (2024–26) begins with photographs from my own life—images I have made and images in which I appear—which are reworked through AI, Photoshop, Painter, and other digital processes. Since moving to the Sonoran Desert, the landscape has become a large part of my visual language. The title comes from a recurring AI prompt, “thought that is actually a thought,” reflecting my attempt to translate the aggression and grace of thought into images.
